Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs, services, and backend systems.
• Build secure and scalable logic for payment processing, transaction records, and account management.
• Optimize database queries and backend performance to handle high-volume traffic.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code that follows industry best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end and mobile development teams to ensure smooth integration.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security measures.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues and production errors.
• Participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and use version control effectively.
• Monitor and enhance application performance, uptime, and error rates.
• Stay current with backend development tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in backend development.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in at least one backend language/framework:
  • Node.js (Express/NestJS)
  • Java (Spring Boot)
  • Python (Django/Flask)
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and JSON-based communication.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools, using GitHub or GitLab.
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth2).
• Basic understanding of system architecture, load balancing, and caching strategies.

Soft Skills

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
• Fluency in Burmese; working proficiency in English preferred.
