Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Culture

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy and initiatives that directly support and align with the company's overall business strategy.
  • Lead the transformation and strengthening of the organizational culture, ensuring the company's core values are embodied and displayed throughout the business.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate all human resource department policies, procedures, and departmental structures.

Operational Excellence & Management

  • Oversee and manage the core areas of the HR department, including: Recruitment and Onboarding, Employee Relations, Workforce Administration, Employee Engagement, Payroll, and Reward and Recognition.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including administering and managing compensation, benefits, and incentive programs.
  • Lead the continuous improvement agenda, focusing on engagement, welfare activities, maximizing productivity, and devolving HR responsibilities to line managers.
  • Manage and improve HR systems and effectively manage the HR budget.

Performance & Development

  • Oversee, design, and implement performance appraisal systems (e.g., KPI, OKR) that promote a culture of high performance and productivity.
  • Assess organizational training needs and coordinate internal and external training sessions to build critical leadership capability and expertise.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure full legal compliance across all aspects of human resource management, maintaining in-depth knowledge of current labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Provide comprehensive reports to the Chairman & CEO on all areas of HR, Payroll, and Learning & Development, including the application of Employment Law and HR policy.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and perform other duties as assigned by the Chairman & CEO.

 

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any field; an MBA is strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership/management role.

Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of local labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational development principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex employee relations issues and address challenging workplace dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capability with the ability to use data to inform and drive HR strategies.
  • Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience managing and utilizing HR systems and databases.
