Role Overview
National Finance is seeking a highly organized and strategic Operations Manager to lead our daily financial activities. The successful candidate will oversee the entire loan lifecycle—from processing to collection—while ensuring strict adherence to Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) regulations. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, mitigating operational risk, and fostering a high-performance culture across front and back-office teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Excellence & Loan Management

Direct and oversee all daily operations, including end-to-end loan processing, disbursement, and collection cycles.

Streamline internal workflows to maximize efficiency and significantly reduce turnaround times for loan delivery.

Serve as an escalation point for complex operational issues to ensure high-quality customer service and transparent repayment tracking.
2. Compliance, Risk & Audit

Regulatory Liaison: Ensure full compliance with CBM directives and financial regulations; manage all formal communications and timely reporting to CBM and relevant government agencies.

Internal Controls: Implement robust internal control frameworks to minimize operational risks and prevent fraudulent activities.

Audit Management: Facilitate internal and external audit processes, ensuring all observations are addressed and rectified within stipulated timelines.
3. Digital Transformation & Strategy

Modernization: Lead the introduction of digital tools and automated systems for loan processing and credit management.

Strategic Insight: Provide data-driven insights on operational capacity and challenges to assist senior management in long-term strategic planning.

Reporting: Deliver comprehensive periodic reports to the executive team regarding operational performance and KPIs.
4. Leadership & Team Synergy

Supervise, mentor, and train operations staff to foster a culture of accountability and professional growth.

Establish clear KPIs for the operations team and monitor performance consistently.

Act as the primary bridge between departments (Marketing, Accounts, IT, and Operations) to ensure seamless organizational coordination.
Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Management, Finance, or Business Administration preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally within a financial institution or microfinance setting.

Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of Myanmar’s financial regulatory environment and local lending practices.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with Core Banking Systems or specialized financial software is highly advantageous.
