Since 2008, YIG set up a construction division focusing on government projects, including the Myittha and Yazagyo hydropower projects.
Our investments in oil and gas exploration and production, as well as our implementation of hydropower projects, demonstrate our commitment to providing reliable energy sources for the people of Myanmar. We continue to collaborate with international energy companies for the exchange of technology and experience.
Renewable energy is a crucial element in providing a sustainable, clean energy supply to the community. YIG was awarded five solar photovoltaic projects—two in Naypyitaw, two in Bago, and one in Yangon—for a total capacity of 170 MW
